Barbell Preacher Curls


Sit on preacher bench placing back of arms on pad. The seat should be adjusted to allow the ‘arm pits’ to rest near the top of the pad. Grasp curl bar with shoulder width underhand grip.

Raise the bar until forearms are vertical to the floor with the back of the upper arm remaining on the pad. Lower the barbell until arms are fully extended. Don’t pause at any point during the exercise. Repeat.

You can also use a cambered bar (or EZ bar) if is more comfortable. Make sure to lower the bar slowly. Squeeze the biceps at the top.
