Dips (focus on Chest)

For this exercise you will need access to parallel bars or grips. Hold yourself with straight arms abouve the bars. Bend knees and hips slightly.

Lower body by bending arms allowing elbows to flare out to sides and body leaning slightly forward. When slight stretch is felt in chest or shoulders push body up until arms are straight. Focus on using your chest muscles. Repeat.

Squeeze your chest at the top of the movement to help focus on working the chest muscles.

To make Easier – Use a dip assisted machine or have your training partner spot you by holding your legs.
To make Harder – Add weight by using a dip belt or placing a dumbbell between your ankles.
