Dumbbell Overhead Press

Sit on a bench with a low back support. Sit with feet flat on the floor and the lower back firmly against the back support. Pick up a pair of dumbbells, and hold them at shoulder height, elbows out completely to the sides and palms facing forward.

Press dumbbells until arms are extended overhead. The dumbbells come together at the top. Dumbbells should almost touch at the top right above the crown of the head. Now, slowly lower the dumbbells, keeping the weight balanced over your elbows. Stop when your elbows are just below parallel with your shoulder joints (fists at the same height as ear lobs). Repeat

Do not allow your hips to move forward during the lift.
