Target: Quadriceps

Sitting on the apparatus, adjust the back support to the point where the back of the knees fit comfortably over the front edge of the seat pad. Position padded extension arm of machine comfortably in front of your shins just above your ankles. Grasp handles to sides for support.

Extend your legs until straight. Return to original position. Repeat.

Hold yourself down during heavy resistances to prevent body rising off of seat. You can also do this exercise one leg at a time known as ‘single leg extensions.’
