Sit on seat and adjust the seat so that the lever grips at shoulder height. Grasp grips with a comfortable overhand grip; palms forward.

Press lever grips until arms are extended overhead. Lower the weight until your elbows are just below parallel with your shoulder joints (fists at the same height as ear lobs). Repeat

The machine will dictate the plain of motion. There are many brands of machines out there such as Hammer Strength and Cybex to name a few.
