Debbie first competed in the 2008 IDFA Canadian Classic. After six months of training, she entered and won the IDFA Novice Figure Short Class and Overall. With just one show under her belt, she was hooked! Debbie knew she’d be back. She just didn’t know it would be four years, one daughter and a new career later! With her pregnancy came 40 excess pounds and separated abdominal muscles. It took two years of training to “get her body back”. On January 1, 2012 Debbie cemented her intentions into a goal – I will attain my IDFA Figure Pro Card on November 3, 2012. Not only did she do it but along the way, she inspired two fellow mothers who are both competing for the first time in the April 21st 2013 IDFA Novice Classic. Look for Debbie on stage again in an upcoming IDFA Pro Show!
