François never trains more than two consecutive days and likes to train heavy. He listens to his body and tries to get 8 hours of sleep every night. He eats 6-7 meals per day and consumes organic foods and natural supplements as much as possible. Cardiovascular exercise is a part of his exercise regimen only during contest preparation. He is sponsored by ATP supplements and Centre de conditionnement Body Shop.
Francois Began training at the age of 14 and did his first training contest at 15. He has competed in over 20 shows in the past 18 years where he won many Provincial and regional show between the ages of 15 and 21. And became Mr. Canada Junior at 19 years old. He made a come back to the stage in 2008 and went on to earn his IDFA Pro Card in 2009.
Owning a bachelor in Finance and is Personnal financial planner diploma, he is working as a manager in financial industry. Moreover, François is pretty involve in fitness and bodybuilding industry. He has been a judge for IDFA since 2009 and is also hosting the IDFA shows since 2011.
