Rob got into bodybuilding at the age of 18 years old in order to put more size onto his skinny 135lb frame. By the time he was 24, he decided to take it to the next level and competed in his first bodybuilding show, placing 2nd in his weight class. Following that competition, Rob went on to compete two additional times; however, by the end of 2005 he decided to hang up the posing trunks in order to focus on his career and raise a family with his wife Bonnie. Seven years later, in 2012, news came that the IDFA would be putting on an inaugural show in Manitoba (Prairie Classic) and he knew this would be the perfect organization and time in his life to restore his motivation and passion for competitive bodybuilding. Although, it was close, he was able to win the Heavyweight class and in turn earn his Pro card with the IDFA.  He is very excited to be a part of the IDFA and looks forward to now competing as a Pro!

2012 IDFA Prairie Classic – 1st Heavyweight Class, IDFA Pro-card
2005 MABBA Provincials – 5th Heavyweight Class
