Lying Leg Curls
Target: Hamstrings
Preparation:
Lie face down on bench with knees just beyond edge of bench. Adjust the leg curl pad to just above your ankles. Grasp handles.
Execution:
Curl your legs until the curl pad nearly touches your buttocks. Return to original position. Repeat.
Comments:
Keep torso on bench to reduce hyperextension of the lower back. Most machines are angled at the users hip to position the hamstring in a more favorable mechanical position.
